Hunter works with families to provide a safe and comfortable home environment for our wonderful seniors. His goal is to maximize their independence, while still providing them with an appropriate level of supervision and assistance. He was born in Gulfport, MS, and has lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for his entire life. Hunter graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Southern Mississippi, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. His major was marketing. He previously worked in the hospitality industry. Before the hospitality industry, he worked briefly as a sales associate in retail sales.
Hunter loves our seniors and hearing the stories of their incredibly diverse and adventurous lives. There are times where he feels like, in his mind, he is being taken on a guided imagery tour of the world. Their stories are amazing.
His favorite part of working at The Blake is having the experience of working in a community that’s designed to look and feel like a 5-star resort. He feels confident when he tells people that we are the “best of the best” in senior living. He likes to focus on health and fitness-exercising, learning about proper nutrition and overall wellness. Hunter also enjoys spending time with friends & family, listening to music, reading non-fiction material (including anything related to self-improvement), and cooking delicious meals.
He states, “The senior living industry was unexpected in my life, but I’m very happy I found it as my first experience into the professional world. I feel rewarded in many ways. The residents and staff at The Blake have become like my second family.”
