Anita has been in Senior Living since 2007 and has been a part of the Blake Family since 2015, serving in various roles including: Executive Director, Regional Director of Operations, Regional Operations and Sales Specialist, Director of New Development, and now Regional Vice President of Operations. She graduated from Mississippi University for Women with a Bachelor’s degree in 1986 and is also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Certified Dementia Practitioner. Originally from Wayne County, MS, Anita resided with her family in Brandon, Mississippi for over 33 years until relocating with her husband David to Starkville, Mississippi. Her hobbies include traveling, sports and being with her family, children and six grandchildren. "It is a blessing to get to spend the better part of my day with our Greatest Generation," she says.

Monica Palicki
Director of Sales
Monica is originally from South Bend, Indiana. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a focus in Marketing & Public Relations. She has 8+ years’ experience in healthcare and marketing. Her favorite thing about working with our seniors is seeing them every day, exchanging stories and laughing with them. Monica moved to the Gulf Coast in 2018. She fell in love with the laid back, coastal community and is currently residing in Vancleave, Mississippi with her two pups – Beau & Stevie. When she isn’t working, Monica enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and hanging with her four-legged pals.

Karen Broom
Director of Wellness
Karen has been a registered nurse for more than 25 years. She has a wide variety of experience in the health care industry including acute care, long term care, home health, and case management. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She enjoys serving seniors, listening to their stories, and assisting them in any way that she can. When Karen isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her children and grandson.

Anna Parmer
Director of Business Operations
Anna is from Gulfport, Mississippi and received her Master of Business Administration degree from Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi. She has extensive experience in business and finance operations and human resources. Her favorite part of working with seniors is learning about their diverse backgrounds and life stories. She loves watching residents participate in The Blake's many different activities, as well as helping the residents to navigate the financial side of things in order to ensure their quality of life. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with close family and wonderful lifelong friends Her hobbies include gardening, camping, and spending time outdoors.

Hunter Deschamp
Assistant Director of Sales
Hunter works with families to provide a safe and comfortable home environment for our wonderful seniors. His goal is to maximize their independence, while still providing them with an appropriate level of supervision and assistance. He was born in Gulfport, Mississippi, and has lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for his entire life. Hunter graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Southern Mississippi, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. His major was marketing. He previously worked in the hospitality industry. Before the hospitality industry, he worked briefly as a sales associate in retail sales.
Hunter loves our seniors and hearing the stories of their incredibly diverse and adventurous lives. There are times where he feels like, in his mind, he is being taken on a guided imaginary tour of the world. "Their stories are amazing," he says.
His favorite part of working at The Blake is having the experience of working in a community that’s designed to look and feel like a 5-star resort. He feels confident when he tells people that we are the “best of the best” in senior living. He likes to focus on health and fitness-exercising, learning about proper nutrition and overall wellness. Hunter also enjoys spending time with friends & family, listening to music, reading non-fiction material (including anything related to self-improvement), and cooking delicious meals.
He states, “The senior living industry was unexpected in my life, but I’m very happy I found it as my first experience into the professional world. I feel rewarded in many ways. The residents and staff at The Blake have become like my second family.”

Deanna Jones
Walk With Me Coordinator
Deanna and her family moved to Gulfport, Mississippi in 2019. She is originally from Terry, Mississippi. She holds a CNA certification with extensive experience.
Her favorite part of working with seniors is getting to know them. She enjoys making a difference in each residents life. When Deanna is not working, she enjoys relaxing, fishing, and traveling. She would like to make a difference in The Blake community, as well as to learn everything she needs to know about each resident.

Bobbie Fenton
Director of Recruitment and Retention
Bobbie Fenton graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and Healthcare Policy and Administration. She is originally from Houston, Texas and was raised in and around the Jackson, Mississippi area, but has resided in Stone County for the last 30 years. She has worked in Healthcare since 2014.
Bobbie’s favorite parts of working with both employees and residents are being able to put a smile on their face and leave them with something encouraging. In a world full of uncertainty, she feels that we all need as much of happiness and encouragement as we can get. She enjoys making sure everything goes smoothly for those she has come to regard as her work family.
When not working at The Blake, she enjoys a host of artistic endeavors, working in her garden, and enjoying the farm with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Hannah Bailey
Director of Activities
Hannah is from Gulfport, MS. She has a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, and has over ten years of experience in HR, business operations, sales, and marketing. Her favorite part of working with seniors is reminding them that they're "never too old to be young." She loves working on a team that shares the same passions as her. When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Greg Perez
Director of Facility Management
Greg is originally from Gulfport, Mississippi. He holds an A/C certification from MGCC with extensive healthcare facility maintenance experience.
His favorite part of working with seniors is getting to personally know them, their history and overall helping them. His favorite part of working at The Blake is the kind and friendly staff.
When Greg is not working at The Blake, he likes to spend time with his family. He is married with two daughters, ages 7 and 4. They are his world and truly loves spending time with them.
