Rebecca Jeffries found her calling in the senior living industry over 13 years ago and has worked as both Marketing Director and Executive Director. She brings a background in writing, sales, and public speaking, along with a passion for bringing love to life. Originally from central Florida, Rebecca has called New Orleans home for the past 17 years, and cherishes the city’s history, culture, and lifestyle. Rebecca is a mom of 3 (ages 23, 18, and 11) and she enjoys growing her own vegetables, hosting family dinners for her kids and friends, and sitting on her porch swing with a good book. Rebecca is a contributing author at New Orleans Mom, a podcaster, and a church pianist.

Missy Aymami
Director of Sales
Missy is the Director of Sales for the Blake at Colonial Club. A mom of two beautiful girls, Missy was born and raised in New Orleans and attended the University of South Alabama where she earned a degree in Adult Communications and Behaviors. After graduation, Missy worked in senior living where she blossomed as a Sales Director.
When her daughters were born, Missy started teaching and spent several years at Advanced Academy in Metairie. Now that her daughters both attend LSU, Missy is thrilled to be returning to her passion of working with seniors. When she’s not working, you’ll find Missy on an early morning run or attending her 5:30 AM bootcamp exercise class.

Rachel Whitney
Director of Wellness
Rachel Whitney is the Director of Wellness for The Blake at Colonial Club. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse with 23 years in long term care. She was born and raised in New Orleans, where she continues to live and raise her two beautiful girls.

Destyne Caldwell
Director of Business Operations
Destyne Caldwell joined team Colonial Club and puts her passion for seniors to work every day. She has a BSW from the University of South Alabama and has worked in church offices in the past. Destyne adores our residents and says “I love being able to share in this stage of their lives. Seniors have a lot of wisdom to offer and still love to have a good time.” Destyne and her husband, Zac, love to cook together and host game nights in their home. You can also find them on adventures with their dog, Elvis!

Shannon Reale
Assistant Director of Sales
With experience in both personal care and senior living sales, Shannon has a unique and vivacious approach to her philosophy of senior care. A mom of three adorable children, Shannon spends her free time being a mom. She loves the culture and flare of New Orleans and the special people who live here. Shannon’s passion for making a difference for seniors and their families makes her a trusted resource for helping through the difficult decisions involved in choosing the right senior care.

Jennifer Holmes-Denver
Assistant Director of Wellness
Jennifer was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse. She graduated from Delgado Charity School of Nursing in 2013, and began working with the senior population in February 2014 in a nursing home setting. She has been in Nursing Management role for over four years now, and started working with The Blake in February 2022. Her passion is taking care of the elderly. She loves interacting with them and hearing their stories. She enjoys being a part of the team at the Blake at Colonial Club because she feels that they truly implements the core values on which The Blake was founded: Excellence, Compassion, Leadership, Integrity, Respect, Safety and Joy. She loves spending time with her husband Randy and her fur baby Mingeaux in her spare time. "Taking care of people is what I love," she says. "Nursing is my true passion."

Justin Churchwell
Director of Activities
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Justin realized his long time goal of living in New Orleans a few years ago. After working in special education for several years, Justin found his niche in senior living activities. He loves bringing joy to the lives of seniors. In his spare time, he enjoys baking, bike riding, and enjoying the New Orleans food and culture.

Gregory Robinson
Walk With Me Coordinator
Gregory brings nearly 30 years experience in activities to his work in our memory care as Walk With Me Coordinator. He makes his home in the greater New Orleans area where he has served seniors in assisted living and nursing care. Gregory enjoys his garden and home projects, along with physical fitness training.

Jennifer Juneau
Director of Recruitment and Retention
Jennifer began her journey with the Blake at Colonial Club as our sales assistant, then moving into Director of Recruitment and Retention. Jennifer has a degree from the University of New Orleans and spent the first few years of her career in education. Thinking of the residents and staff as her second family, Jennifer loves to interact with residents and learn from them. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her family, draw, and paint.

Rick Reale'
Director of Facility Maintenance
After living in Florida for most of his life, Rick and his family moved to the New Orleans area and have made their home here. Rick brings his past experience in firefighting, EMT work, and resort maintenance to the Blake as he serves as our Director of Facilities Maintenance. Rick has 3 children at home, and four adult daughters who live in Florida. He enjoys spending time with his family and serving on the security team at his church.

Joe Rouchon
Director of Dining Services
Joe Rouchon is the Director of Dining Services at the Blake at Colonial Club. Chef Joe was born in Louisiana and then moved to New Jersey. He returned home to attend John Folse Culinary Institute 20 years ago. Joe has experience as a resort chef, along with management experience in popular New Orleans restaurants such as Zea, Legacy Kitchen, and New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood. Chef Joe is the proud dad of two adorable children, and spends his spare time involved with his son and daughter’s schooling and activities.
