The Blake at Bossier City’s management team is made up of industry professionals with years of experience providing exceptional senior services and care. We are committed to raising the bar on quality living for seniors, and we’re proud of the work we do every day.

JAN HUTCHINSON
Director of Sales
Jan Hutchinson is the Director of Sales for The Blake at Bossier City. Jan has more than 20 years’ experience in the travel industry and has lived all over the world. She is a native of Shreveport. Her favorite part of working with seniors is being able to reminisce about the old days and watching their eyes light up when they talk about their families. She is excited to work with a company with such good morals and down-to-earth personalities. She loves that The Blake puts the residents first!

Brannon Holloway
Director of Wellness
Brannon Holloway is the Director of Wellness for The Blake at Bossier City. He has over 10 years of nursing experience, including ICU, inpatient rehab and case management. Patient-centered care has always been his primary focus. He was raised in Haughton, LA and graduated form Haughton High School in 2006. He and his wife, Mallory Holloway, now live in Haughton, LA with their children, Holt, Hanley, and Winnie June.

JANE HOWELL
Director of Business Operations
Jane is from Indianola, MS and has been in the healthcare industry for over 45 years with 15 years’ experience in Assisted Living. When she is not working, Jane enjoys reading, sewing, spending time with her three grandchildren and cheering on the football team coached by her son.

KAREN CARLTON
DIRECTOR OF RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION
Karen is originally from North Carolina. She has served in the United States Air Force and brings a vast level of experience in human resources, leadership, and management. Her experience also encompasses a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Human Resources and Management.
Karen’s extensive experience and knowledge enables her to specialize in all position placement and sustainment, which provides the appropriate candidates to fill the organizations requirements. Her goal is to provide and retain superior candidates that will continue to provide superior service for the residents and their families.
Karen enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband and family!

SOMMER CARPENTER
Director of Activities
We would like to welcome Sommer Carpenter to our team here at The Blake at Bossier City! Sommer grew up in Benton, Louisiana and attended Southwood High School. After high school, she went to LSU where she graduated with a merchandising degree with a minor in Finance and also met her loving husband, Russ. Sommer has worked as an Activities Director for over two years. She loves her family and dog (Lilly Pearl), traveling, and, of course, making people happy!

JOHN EICHLER
Director of Facility Management
John is originally from Shreveport, LA. He has extensive knowledge and experience in maintenance, which he has worked for over 37 years. He worked for Doctors' Hospital, Lifecare Hospital, and now for The Blake at Bossier City.
John’s favorite part of working with seniors is that they are always happy to see him. He truly enjoys working with our residents and guests. When John is not working, he is spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Kyle Willis
Director of Dining Services
“My name is Kyle Willis and it is an absolute pleasure to be the new Dining Director and Chef here at The Blake in Bossier City. I have cooked in all types of environments including, casual fine dining, fine dining, healthcare and more. I hope to bring you all comforting food that is delicious and familiar with the occasional new treat. Thank you all for welcoming me into your family here and I will see you around soon!”
Kyle serves as the Director of Dining Services and chef at The Blake at Bossier City. He has cooked in all types of environments including, casual fine dining, fine dining, healthcare and more. He provides our residents all the ‘comfort’ food that is delicious and familiar to them, along with an occasional new treat. Kyle feels blessed to be a part of The Blake family and says, “it is an absolute pleasure to be here."
