Andy Yarborough brings extensive development experience to The Blake by QSLM. He has actively directed the development, financing, acquisition, and marketing of commercial real estate properties throughout the southeast. As a principal of The Blake by QSLM, Andy plays a lead role in site selection, market analysis, legal and organizational structure, finance, pre-development, and development services for The Blake communities. His unique perspective on creativity and design in development, coupled with his steadfast implementation of critical project underwriting and analysis, has solidified his position as a core component of The Blake at QSLM, aiding in the company's success in the senior housing market. Andy graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Economics degree.

Jeanne Anderson, CPA
Executive VP of Finance
Member, Chief Executive Committee
As Executive Vice President of Finance, Jeanne Anderson oversees all accounting and tax functions of The Blake by QSLM. She is a CPA practicing in Mobile, Alabama and has over 30 years of public accounting experience, including 17 years as managing partner of Shumock & Anderson, LLC. She attended the University of South Alabama and Spring Hill College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the AICPA Tax Section and the Alabama Society of CPAs. She credits her parents for a instilling in her the importance of integrity, respect for others, gratefulness, and living each day with a PMA – "Positive Mental Attitude". She and her husband live just outside of Mobile in "God's Country." They are the proud parents of four grown children, three beautiful daughters-in-law, and eight precious grandchildren.

Russ Myles
Chief Legal Officer
Member, Chief Executive Committee
Prior to joining The Blake at QSLM, Russ was engaged in private practice with two preeminent law firms for more than twenty-five years. He represented business, banking, and real estate development interests in a wide range of complex, high-stake matters and was frequently engaged as outside general counsel for a number of start-up companies and long-term clients. Russ served three years as a National Director for the Defense Research Institute (22,000 members), where he most recently chaired the External Policy Group of the Center for Law and Public Policy. He also served in leadership roles at the International Association of Defense Counsel and Lawyers for Civil Justice.
Russ has published and lectured on matters involving antitrust, predatory pricing, false advertising, and professional liability. He’s admitted to practice in the Fourth, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court. Russ is a graduate of Samford University and NYU.

Joe Mikalajunas
Chief Operating Officer
Joe brings over twenty-five years of senior living experience to his role as Chief Operating Officer. Over those years, Joe has built teams that focus on resident care excellence while creating company cultures where service to others was the common theme for all. Before joining The Blake by QSLM, Joe served in many operational roles over the years, including Executive Director, Regional Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, and Chief Operating Officer. As Chief Operating Officer, Joe successfully oversaw the operations, sales and financial performance of over 50 communities throughout the country. Joe has the keen ability to build high-performance teams while fostering a culture of servant leadership and compassionate care. Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling, both from Loyola University in Baltimore. Joe has been married to his wife Kristi for over 25 years and they are blessed with three wonderful children. They reside in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Terry Myers
Chief Financial Officer
Terry Myers, MBA, has held senior-level finance positions with national senior living companies, including American Retirement Corporation, Brookdale, Sears Methodist Retirement Systems, and other healthcare companies in an interim capacity. His experience includes serving as a Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Finance, Senior Director of Planning and Analysis, Financial Analyst, and Consultant for various companies. He has deep experience in all areas of senior living, including acquisitions, new development, lease-up, recapitalization, and stabilized operations.

Leland Rice
Chief Growth Officer
As Vice President of Development, Lee helps lead market analysis, site selection, finance and investment strategy, and enterprise growth for The Blake by QSLM and QSL Management. He has an entrepreneurial background with extensive experience in emerging markets, enterprise development, venture capital, and business intelligence. He's the founder of Dedalus Global, an emerging-market investment advisory, and TBY, a business intelligence and economic media group with operations in 35 countries. Lee graduated with honors from Hampden-Sydney College and completed executive education at The London School of Economics. He and his wife, Claire, live in Pensacola, Florida.

Aimee Swan
Senior VP of Wellness
Aimee has senior leadership experiences in multiple for-profit settings covering clinical leadership, strategic planning, general management, staffing, facility operations, budgeting, project management, marketing, and census development. She has a track record of achievements in facilitating clinical process and organizational improvements to reduce operational costs, improving administrative controls, and strengthening clinical and financial performance. She is an effective leader adept at building and managing strong teams capable of achieving defined service and quality objectives. Aimee is self-directed with excellent negotiation, customer service, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. She has a diploma of Nursing from Lutheran Medical Center School, and is certified as a Nursing Home Administrator as well as having her compact state licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.

Tiffany Cooey
Senior VP of Sales & Marketing
As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tiffany supports new development communities, live operations sales, corporate marketing, and sales revenue growth for The Blake by QSLM. Tiffany started with The Blake in January 2014 and has lead sales in various role within The Blake family to include Director of Sales, Regional Director of Sales, Regional Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and currently Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. She also received a sales management certification. As a proud Pensacola native, Tiffany has served in various senior advocacy groups within the Pensacola community and she is a graduate of Santa Rosa Leadership, class 30. She and her husband welcomed their first child in 2022, and they love spending time with him, as well as their two goldendoodles.

RENEE MATHENY
Vice President of Culture
As the Vice President of Culture, Renee helps to ensure that each community is living to its true potential by instilling our core values, such as excellence and joy, into the everyday lives of our residents and employees. She is a person who is full of compassion, empathy, and kindness, and has made a significant difference in the lives of our residents and employees throughout her time with our company. With over 15 years of experience in Senior Living, Renee understands the needs of our residents, residents' families, and employees, and she ensures that every member of The Blake family ends the day with a smile on their face. In her new position, Renee looks forward to building a community in which both our residents and team members can grow and thrive. Her and her husband Joe live in Shreveport, Louisiana and stay busy with their grandsons Kiptyn, Slayter, and Ryder.

Kristi Oliver
Regional VP of Operations
As Regional Vice President of Operations for QSL, Kristi Oliver supports leadership and operations in our Florida and Mississippi communities. Kristi has over 25 years of health care experience with both home health and assisted living. Her past roles include Executive Director and Regional Director of Operations at Sunrise Senior Living, Sr. VP of Operations at Spectrum Retirement Communities where she guided a team consisting of forty-eight communities as well as two others under development, and most recently Vice President, Owner Relations for Bridge Investment Group. At Bridge, she had oversight of a Seniors Housing portfolio representing six different operators, nineteen assisted living and memory care communities as well as 4 CCRC life plan communities with annualized revenues of 137M. She is a graduate of Westmar College with a BA in Business Management and discovered her passion of caring for seniors early on in her career. Kristi resides in Tampa where she is quickly transitioning to the Florida lifestyle after a lifetime spent in the Midwest of Iowa, St Louis, and Chicago.

Dana Sargent
Regional Vice President of Operations
Dana Sargent is our Regional VP of Operations. She was born and raised in Michigan, but she now resides in beautiful Fernandina Beach, Florida.
Dana has received her associate's degree and LPN from Jackson Community College in Michigan and is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer. She started her career in the avenue of developmental disabilities and autism, which she found was a nice bridge over to memory care. She loves leading and training teams and seeing the benefits pay off with the happiness and joy of the residents. "Everyone matters and that’s important to me!" she says.
When she isn't working, she likes to watch college football and spend time with family and friends

Lauren Allen
Controller
Lauren Allen supports the preparation of financial results provided to stakeholders for operating communities and communities under development. She is an active CPA in the state of Florida and a proud graduate of Auburn University, holding both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accountancy and Master of Accountancy degree. Lauren began her career at PwC, working in the firm’s assurance practice in Birmingham, Alabama. Born and raised in the Pensacola, Florida community, she is grateful to be back home on the beautiful Gulf Coast and to be a member of The Blake family. Lauren resides with her husband, Nathan, in Pensacola, Florida.

Tracy Van Norman
Treasury Manager
Tracy Van Norman oversees the Accounts Payable operations of our communities. She brings over 25 years’ experience in accounting, budgeting and data analysis. Her initial years in public accounting and subsequent experience in the software industry led her to years of providing consulting services to CPA firms across the country with database and reporting needs. After 11 years of overseeing the business and financial operations of a prominent educational institution in her role as Business Manager, she joined The Blake by QSLM in January of 2021. Tracy holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of West Florida. She and her husband Jarvis live in Pace, Florida and are blessed to be the parents of Austin and Alexis.

Aaron Helms
Payroll Manager
Aaron supports the CFO in carrying out the responsibilities of the Financial and Accounting Department. He also provides support and training to the Directors of Business Operations. Aaron served as the Director of Business Operations at the flagship Blake in Gulf Breeze Florida for eight years. He briefly transitioned to the Director of Client Training and Administration with their HR and Payroll company, but is now back home with The Blake by QSLM corporate office. Aaron has a creative and technical background in art, music, and computers. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Art with focus in Computer Graphics and Sculpture. He and his wife, Tina, reside with their three children in Pensacola, Florida.

Paula Dorsey
Regional VP of Sales
Paula is originally from Southern, Illinois but has called Pensacola home for over 30 years. She joined The Blake family in October 2018 where she has served as the Director of Sales, Interim Executive Director, and is now Regional Vice President of Sales. Paula’s background includes 25 years in the real estate business through sales and property management. She co-owned, branded, and opened two local real estate companies. She also holds a Florida Real Estate Broker’s License and an Assisted Living Administrator’s License. Paula has a passion for helping families have a wonderful experience while living at The Blake through excellent care, fun activities, and ensuring the core values and standards of The Blake are continuously upheld. She enjoys mentoring others and hearing the stories of the many families that call The Blake their home. When not working, Paula enjoys spending time reading, relaxing at the beach, traveling, exploring wineries, doing home improvements projects, and spending time with her family and friends.

Tori Hughes
Regional VP of Sales
Tori is originally from the Mississippi Delta but has called the Destin area home now for almost 8 years. She is a graduate of Delta State University and has received a bachelor’s in Business Administration with an enhanced focus in marketing. Most of her career has been in healthcare sales and marketing. She has worked in the senior living industry for over 6 years and began her career with The Blake in new development almost 3 years ago at their Miramar Beach community. Tori has served on numerous local boards in different roles and was an active member of The Rotary Club of Destin, where she was awarded the District Governor Rising Star Award and Rookie of the Year Award. Tori’s favorite part of working in this industry is the relationships and the trust she builds with families and residents. She finds it truly gratifying knowing that she is usually the first person someone meets when starting their senior living journey. When Tori is not working, she enjoys traveling, cooking, being outdoors, decorating, and spending time with her two English Springer Spaniels.

Monica Bonilla
Area Director of Sales
Having recently been promoted to the Area Director of Sales, Monica oversees the growth and sales of several communities. Monica has been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years. After starting as a hotel desk clerk and working her way up to General Manager for both Marriott and Hilton Hotels, she found her passion in senior living, where she helps people see how to make the rest of their life the best of their life. Though Colorado-born, she considers herself a West Texas native. Monica lived in Dallas for over 12 years and relocated to Daphne with her boyfriend Brian. Together they have three children: one of whom is a senior in high school and still lives with them, and two grown children living in Alabama and Texas who couldn’t be more different from each other.
In her free time, Monica enjoys watching sports. Her favorite teams are the Denver Broncos and the Dallas Mavericks. She also enjoys summers at the beach and relaxing by the fireside on her deck on cool evenings.

Aaron Prosser
Vice President of Strategic Initiatives
Aaron Prosser is the VP of Strategic Initiatives at The Blake, and is responsible for construction project management, as well as providing support for future development. He is from Orange Beach, Alabama. His favorite part of working at The Blake is being able to use his skills to find innovative solutions to difficult problems. He loves being able to contribute to the team and helping to create an excellent experience for our residents from the ground up. When he isn’t working, he enjoys being outdoors. He is an experienced saltwater fisherman, and he is very knowledgeable about local wildlife.

Connor Harkey
Vice President of Facility Management
Connor Harkey is from Mobile, Alabama. He has been certified as a Registered Roof Observer (RRO) by the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC). He has also worked as a Commercial Roof Consultant and Project Manager at Thompson Engineering.
His favorite thing about working with seniors is finding and taking any opportunity to help them or make their day better; he finds it extremely rewarding to enhance their quality of living. His favorite part of working at The Blake is being a part of a great team. “Everyone I have worked with is extremely well-rounded and genuinely cares about the products that they produce.” He enjoys being part of a team that cares deeply about the seniors at The Blake.
When he isn’t working, Connor enjoys saltwater fishing and pretty much any outdoor activity. He also loves spending time with his buddies and watching sports.

Chelsea Matthews
Director of Marketing
As Director of Marketing, Chelsea guides the overall marketing efforts of The Blake by QSLM, including Design, Social Media, and Marketing Analytics. Chelsea's marketing background includes experience in international business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing. She also has marketing agency experience, which allowed her to gain knowledge in a wide variety of industries. Chelsea obtained her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Siena College, as well as a graduate certificate in Human Resource Management and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Champlain College. Along with this experience and education, she has eight years of logistics experience serving in the US Army Reserve within a Combat Support Hospital. Having recently relocated from New York, she enjoys the Florida Sunshine with her husband and their two dogs.

Luke Selogy
Accountant
Luke Selogy supports the Senior Accountant in carrying out Accounts Payable duties, primarily helping in the area of risk management. He began his career at Warren Averett, CPAs and Advisors, where he interned for a year in the Tax and Administrative departments. Luke joined QSL Management in April of 2022, and he could not be happier to be a member of the Blake Family. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of West Florida, where he intends to begin his Master’s of Accountancy degree upon completing his CPA examinations. Luke was just married in August 2022, and he enjoys playing board games and adventuring with his lovely wife, Jordan, as they settle into their new home in Pensacola, Florida.

Gloria Heckman
Executive Administrator
Gloria Heckman is the executive administrator at The Blake by QSL Management. She was originally from Michigan but has moved around every two to three years for a long time, due to her husband's Navy career. When her family was originally stationed in the Pensacola area, they bought a house, and they returned to live here when her husband retired. Gloria has an Associate’s degree in Paralegalism from Trident Technical College in Charleston, South Carolina, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Norwich University in Vermont. She worked for years as a paralegal and office administrator and has also worked for six years as an administrative analyst at the Pensacola News Journal.
Gloria has always had a soft spot for seniors and has volunteered at different nursing homes throughout the country. She takes joy in visiting with seniors, and she finds that listening to their experiences and their history is very educational and especially heartwarming. She loves the culture at The Blake: "There is no drama here. Everyone is very kind and helpful. There is a real sense of kindness and camaraderie here and it fits my personality," she says. When she isn't working, she loves to read and hang out in her backyard. She also enjoys making jewelry and working on large jigsaw puzzles. She and her husband love spending time with their son and grandson.
One special thing about Gloria is her passion for volunteering: as her family moved around the country, she enjoyed volunteering her time as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters, both in Michigan and Honolulu. She also served as a Guardian ad Litem in South Carolina and Vermont; was a volunteer educational surrogate in Vermont, assisting with tailoring the educational needs of at-risk minors; and has volunteered with the local Salvation Army, performing fundraising on behalf of foster children. She has worked many years with members of the homeless communities right here in Pensacola, providing transportation, assisting them with getting medical care, cooking, and feeding them, helping them with paperwork they don’t understand, and ultimately helping them find the help they need.

Sheila McCabe
Graphic Designer
Despite being raised in a military family and living in the Philippines, Japan, and the Pacific Northwest, Sheila has been blessed to live on Emerald Coast most of her life and is proud to call it her home. She graduated from the University of West Florida in 2013 with her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. With a design career spanning over ten years, Sheila has had the opportunity work in almost every facet of the design world, from coding and illustration to production and installation. Her favorite part of working with seniors is having her perspective changed by their wisdom and knowledge, and hearing their jokes. She enjoys supporting her fellow co-workers at The Blake, whose ideals she admires. When she isn’t at work, she is very involved at her local church, where she is the treasurer, a teacher, a singer, and the senior drummer, among other things. Her hobbies include drawing, reading psychology and philosophy books, writing, cooking, pressing flowers, gardening (badly), and studying Korean and Spanish.

Katie Boothe
Social Media Manager
Katie Boothe is The Blake's official Social Media Manager, responsible for managing the community Facebook pages, as well as the LinkedIn page. She is originally from a town outside of Dallas called Flower Mound, Texas. She moved to Pensacola for college because she wanted to go to school by the beach. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of West Florida in 2022. She also received her Digital Marketing Certificate from UWF. A hard worker, Katie worked as a Customer Service Staff member at Publix. At the same time, she was also a Digital Marketing Intern for dameSpeak, a company based out of Kansas City, Missouri, for whom she created social media content, including blogs for their website.
She loves working with seniors because they are such a fun group of individuals to work with, and they have so much to offer in terms of advice and knowledge. She says that everyone has been extremely welcoming at The Blake, and even though she's relatively new, she says, "I feel like I have been working here forever." She says that their confidence in her and her abilities has helped her to have more confidence in herself.
When she's not working, she enjoys going to the beach with her friends and family. She also enjoys traveling to different places, attending concerts, and arts and crafts are also right up her alley. She has two dogs named Sadie and Duke. Sadie is a Catahoula mix, and Duke is a Border Collie mix. They are her whole world, and they keep her on her toes.
